The Joint Matriculation Examination Board JAMB has been commended for introducing and conducting a successful Computer Based Test CBT exam.
This commendation came from the African Pride Empowerment Empire, a Non-Governmental Organization, who said that the CBT exam will check examination malpractice in Nigeria.
President of the NGO, Mr Godwin Uwagbale, said that examination malpractice militated against academic progress as it always made children less intelligent and to display false high grades.
“No developed country in the world can attain any form of advantage through examination malpractice, it is only those without vision that subscribe to it,” he said.
It is worth noting that JAMB have concluded plans to make the CBT the only means of writing the UTME from next year onward.
The board promised to clear all impending doubt about the success of the CBT so that it will be accepted by all.
