A 16-year-old student of Bishop Okoth Miranga high school in Kenya was on Monday killed by her ex-boyfriend on her way to school.
According to report, the suspect a class 8 dropout is said to have been monitoring the deceased and had on that fateful day had ambushed her at about 6am.

Witnesses said they both had a quarrel over their love affair that had gone sour before he attacked her with a machete which he used on her head.
The sister of the deceased, Ms Emily Akinyi said she received a call from a man asking her to rush to place called Arina as something tragic had happened.
According to her she had warned her sister to stay away from the suspect and she had called off the relationship but the boy didn’t accept her decision.
The boy’s parents said he had informed them that he would disappear but did not give any reasons for the planned action but got to know why after the incident.
Area police boss Reuben Muli said a search has been launched for the suspect who is still at large.
“We are appealing to residents to help us with information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect,” he said.
